In the past days it has been looking lovely outside, from behind the window that is. Because it's still cold. But there's that little promise in the air... signs of spring? No, it's too early to get excited. But still... there's something in me that wants to get excited!
I'm longing for spring. Who isn't. I'm longing for the outdoor life: hiking, biking, camping. Not that I'm having time for that right now but still, I can't wait for the warmer days! Can't help dreaming...

We were tippy-toeing towards it too, Cessie, but now we're going backwards again. It's snowing heavens hard!
ReplyDeleteOh, for the sun on old bones.
hope that it arrives soon for you - we are in half term week over here and for some reason our lovely blue skies and sunshine have deserted us for rain and grey clouds ... but I am sure the sun will come back soon!
ReplyDeletehave a great week
I thought Spring was coming for sure in Minnesota, but we got a bunch of snow yesterday. Waiting for our blue skies!
ReplyDeleteStopping by from Six Word Saturday :)
At least the sky is cheerful. Here it's a dull grey, and will probably stay that way for months :(
ReplyDeleteOur progress towards spring has stopped and the snow has come back. :( Hope it doesn't stay long.
ReplyDeleteI join you in your dream. We woke up to snow, too, but the sun is trying hard to come through now (lunchtime)
ReplyDeleteSame here—but I'm still hopeful!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely Saturday. ☺
What is this "blue skies" of which you speak?
ReplyDeleteOur pear trees are blooming. So are the red buds and some of the azaleas but not ours yet. My Nebraska cousins are here (Houston, Texas area) for a couple of weeks warming up.
ReplyDelete..
Well there is more than a foot of snow on the ground here in Kansas...but I do know that Spring is right around the corner...and I am looking forward to it! But until then...more snow is coming! (:>)
ReplyDeleteHappy Saturday!
Linda
Isn't it such a tease! In CO it's always sunny, but that is definitely *not* a guarantee of warmth. The nice thing about winter though, is getting to do things like snowshoe!
ReplyDeleteHappy saturday all the way.
ReplyDeleteSpring is coming! I am ready, too.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for Spring either! And all the fun activities that come with warmer weather. Being stuck inside is just not as much fun...
ReplyDeleteHere in Australia, after a ridiculously wet summer where I am, to the point of flooding repeatedly, and serious fires in other parts of the country, we head for autumn feeling as though we haven't hd a decent summer. (Well, we haven't.)
ReplyDeleteWe had some beautiful blue skies and some cold wind, unusual for Arizona. However, it did make for some fun kite flying.
ReplyDeleteYour 6WS just describe how it is here today!A bit of sunshine and everybody has been cheery but realised its still got a nip in the air for sure! Hope you are having a good week :-)
